This is for new troops as an "introduction" option to the Brigade and allows cheaper registration fees. It is only available for the first two years of participation.

The rate of exhange between US Dollars and CAN Dollars changes daily. Our bank also charges fees to change US Dollar checks and cash into Canadian Dollars

CA$1.119 = US$1.00 (CA $1.00 = US $0.900)

Order Chevrons in sets of five on either a dark blue background for the Royal Newfoundland and 8th (King's) Regiments, or dark green for the 49th Regiment.  Cost $10 per set of five.

The US forces did not use chevrons to denote rank during the War of 1812.
