The Fort George Scout Brigade is a Weekend Scout Camp held on the grounds of Historic Fort George in the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario Canada. It is always held on the third full weekend in September. It is a Scouting function which sees scouts from Ontario, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York join together to recreate the life of a soldier in the British or US Army in 1812-1813. All attendants of the camp don mock uniforms and equipment of the period and engage in battles, drills, and parades. The opportunity to learn about this period of history is unsurpassed.

In 2006, there were 2131 Scouts and Leaders registered.

NOTE: Passports are NOT required to cross the border by land in 2007.

The 6th Regiment of United States Infantry is one of four Regiments that participate in the Scout Brigade of Fort George. The other three are the 8th (Kings) Regiment, The Royal Newfoundland Regiment and the 49th Regiment of Foot all of which are Canadian Scouts. The 6th Regiment of the United States Infantry is, of course, U.S. Scouts. Each year the U.S. Scouts are invited to participate in this truly remarkable Scout's Canada Scout Program sponsored by the Greater Toronto Council. This Website is dedicated to helping U.S. Scouts and their leaders get involved.
